The MA-TLC requests a total budget of $3,349,200 to carry out the program described in this proposal over a three year period, starting September 1, 2000. This request is based upon the plan that 80% of the 2791 eligible superintendents, principals, and school heads in Massachusetts will participate in the program, with funding from the Gates Foundation of $1,500 per participant. Matching funds will be provided by the partner organizations, corporate sponsors, and participating school districts.
